Mike SlimakAssociate Director, National Center for Environmental Assessment, Environmental Protection Agency Dr. Michael Slimak is an associate director in EPA’s National Center for Environmental Assessment. He is primarily responsible for developing and implementing an assessment program to understand risks associated with global climate change, chemical pollutants, habitat and biodiversity loss, and invasive species. Dr. Slimak has been with EPA for over 27 years and has worked in a number of programs. He has been directly involved with the CCSP and USGCRP since its inception in 1990. He holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Science, an MS in Wildlife Ecology, and a BS in Biology.
